Schiitr's back!
Schiit Authorizes first “Schiitr At Large” in Northeast
June 24, 2026, San Antonio, Texas. Today, Schiit Audio announced the first independent retail showroom for its products, Boutique Audio Temple, located in New Hampshire. This appointment-only venue offers a carefully curated selection of ourelectronics for audition in a natural, in-home setting.
“We’re excited about this ‘BAT-Schiitr,’ said Jason Stoddard, Schiit Audio’s co-founder. “Traditional retail doesn’t work for our direct-sale model, so a showroom approach makes a lot of sense.”
Customers will be able to hear Schiit’s top-end and mid-range 2-channel components in conjunction with speakers by Eminent Technology and Paradigm, with others to soon follow. The in-home listening room also allows them to hear it
much more like they would experience in their own environment, eliminating much of the uncertainty that comes with a traditional multi-brand dealer.
At launch, Schiit gear available to hear includes a complete Forkbeard “gigastack” of Wotan, Tyr F, Kara F, Yggdrasil Singular, as well as a more accessible systems including Loki Max F, Mimir, Sys, Modi, EITR, and BUF, etc.
“We’ve been doing high-end audio for decades”, said Dave Wagner, Boutique Audio Temple’s founder. “But today’s high-end retailers and manufacturers’ business models have exploded the price of entry beyond rational comprehension. Schiit’s American- made quality and value is a real-game changer in our experience. We’re proud to be able to offer the two channel Schiit product line to today’s clientele chasing world-class sound at prices today’s younger generations can actually afford.”
“This type of in-home showroom is exciting,” said Jason. “At Sumo, one of our most successful dealers—both in terms of satisfaction and sales—used this exact model.”
For orders, customers are encouraged to place an order via Boutique Audio Temple, for which they will receive free shipping. And in most cases, they can take advantage of tax-free New Hampshire.
Boutique Audio Temple does not currently choose to carry any of Schiit’s dedicated headphone products, choosing to focus on speaker-driven systems. LP aficionados can listen to a SOTA Star Sapphire III/SME309/Hana Turntable system via a Schiit Stjarna as well, in addition to digital via Yggdrasil, etc. They offer customers the ability to listen to music of their choice (CD, Streaming, LP’s) in service of their BAT mission: “At the concert, but in YOUR room”.
“We’re hoping that Boutique Audio Temple isn’t the only ‘Schiitr at large.’" said Jason. "We want organic growth. We’re not going to be forcing anyone to carry the whole line, or even specific parts of the line. If they’re excited about certain gear, that’s what they should concentrate on.”
Schiit continues to evaluate its own captive retail store, a successor to the original Schiitr, with a tentative plan for an Austin-area outlet in 2027. Schiit also welcomes others who would like to do their own Schiitr-at-large. Interested parties should contact Denise Martin, [email protected].
